Good news, bad news!

I went to the doctor today to get the results of an arthrogram on my shoulder taken last week. The results? I have another tear in my rotator cuff and will need surgery to fix it! This will be the third one! On the same shoulder! When the doctor told me I gave a big sigh of relief. One of the biggest fears I have had through this whole ordeal is that I wouldn't be believed and would have to fight the company's insurance company. I have read and heard of all kinds of horror stories regarding workman's comp and insurance companies. I'm not looking forward to another surgery, especially with all the pain and complications, but I want to be able to do things again, like you know, work and earn a living, work on projects around the house, Hold my grandson without pain, you know, live a normal life.
docvisit2.gifMy doctor wants me to see his partner to see if an arthroscopic surgery will do the trick. The recovery for that will be better than if he has to do a major surgery, which will be another six month recovery. That'll be two years out of work for me, and thats if this works!
