Christmas Eve and the tree is dressed!

Even though the weather outside is balmy and I wish we had some good snow like the Genuine family, we still managed to get into the Christmas spirit. Kristin decorated our tree and Billy and I watched A Miracle on 34th Street.

It's never too late to start making Christmas cookies either.

Yingling Bells, Yorgi Yorgerson

Yingling Bells, yingling bells

My wife said to me
Let's not drive the old coupe
Let's hitch-up once again
The one horse open sleigh
The horse was awful mad
If he could talk he'd say
You'll be sorry you hitched me
To the one horse open sleigh.

I can't hear my wife yell
I can't see her face
I guess we must have lost her
When we turned at Jonson's place.

Yingle bells, yingle bells
Yingling all the way
I wouldn't make brass monkeys
Ride in a one horse open sleigh.

This is an addition for the Yorgi Yorgerson thread from a while back -Yingle Bells-

Night is awful dark can't see beyond my nose,
I can't blink my eyes, my eyballs must be froZe.

In the stanza with "Yohnson's place" as I recall it began:

I can't hold the horse; he thinks he's in a race.
