So today is the day day of the big decision amongst households with graduating seniors. Are these kids going to college? If so, where? Their decisions and deposits have to be postmarked today!
Billy decided already and all his paperwork has been mailed already. Although the school he wants to go to is very expensive, it's the best place for him. It offers him the most, will challenge his mind the most and it gets him out of the area. He's been really upset by the lack of ambition he's encountered in people at his school. They are content to just let things happen and if they work some menial job all their lives, so be it. He needs to be around other kids who want to achieve as much as he does.
