The first two weeks of this month were unusually warm, above 50. It didn't feel like winter at all. Now, we are at zero with the wind chill factor. It's supposed to stay this cold for the next couple of weeks. We might get a little snow. This weather would have been acceptable to me in December when I was full of the Christmas spirit and wanted some snow. Now I just want winter to go away!

That's a really interesting quote! To me, it seems to be how people justify the prejudices they already have. Some people who are bigoted try to lean the opposite way to show that they are not and sometimes they feel quite proud of themselves. Meanwhile, they still have a lot of prejudice in their hearts and are just kidding themselves. I hope I don't do that!
