last snow of winter
I hope we just had the last snow of winter! Tomorrow is the first day of spring and it was like Old Man Winter wouldn?t slink out the door. He wanted us to know he?s still got a wallop and will be waiting for us next year! We?d been having such beautiful weather lately so it was hard to believe when the heavy gray clouds gathered. The temperature dropped over night and the snow began accumulating. We might have gotten a lot of snow but we were lucky. I think we got about 3 inches on the ground before it changed over to rain. I don?t think we have much left out there! The kids were hoping to have a day off from school but no such luck -- well, for them anyway. 
Over the weekend the warm weather returns. I am so happy! The snow was beautiful but I am itching for spring!
