What's Up With Us

We are so looking forward to Michele & David's visit, seeing all the kids & meeting Nikolas! We are holding off going to see Star Wars so that we can all go see it together, especially the boys & their Pop-Pop. It's been pretty busy & I've tried to keep up with Scribblings. Poor TB hardly gets to go on his computer never mind post an entry. He's busy at work in a very good way and when he comes home he's tired. The kids are doing great and all of them are looking forward to the summer, especially Billy ... he's graduating!!!!

Nancy, I saw you post for some quick recipes for the summer and I am hunting those up. Lately it's been cool so I've still made things in the oven and the two I posted today are recipes we tried recently that were delicious!

What's up?

Howdy y'all

How is everyone doing? I am getting ready to go to NJ in a couple of weeks to visit. I can't wait. I was thinking about all the good Pizza and WAWA coffee I can have. I can't wait for my Dad and Cassie to finally see Nikolas. He is getting so big and fast too.
It has been along time since anyone posted anything on here. what is going on anything new in your lives? I am going to school and getting my GED and then next year sometime I will be starting college. I am going to take paralegal classes. I am so excited about that. David just got put to assistant manager at Advance auto parts. I am so proud of him. Brandon and Ryan's last day of school in coming fast. It is June 2nd. Brandon is going to 5th and Ryan is going to 4th grade. I am so proud of them. Taylor will be starting school in the fall also. She will be going to head start. She is so excited about it. That is all that she talks about ( and her new friend Mackenzie too) Well that is all for now I hope that someone posts some good stuff soon.

Summer Recipes

Hi Friends!
Summer is coming, along with the hot, humid weather that makes long stretches of cooking on a hot stove or oven less pleasant. So I was thinking, let's all post some good "warm weather recipes" to the recipe page - ones that requier a minimum of stove/oven time, and are quck and easy to prepare after coming home from the pool or wherever.

Anybody hungry? masterpiece

To all mothers everywhere

To all Mothers everywhere, especially my own.

A Mother's Love

There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above.

by Jill Lemming

I hope you receive the tremendous blessings you so richly deserve.
