Please pray for this precious little boy whose grandparents belong to our church, and whose parents grew up there also He has been battling a terrible childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma since he was 2 1/2 years old (he's 5 now - Cassie, you might remember him - I sent you his page when he was first diagnosed...). He had been in remission, then relapsed, then improved again (all this after many treatments) but now his disease has progressed again just as things were starting to look promising, and his hearbroken mom is asking for all the prayers we can rouse. This cancer does not have a good survival rate, and they are fast running out of treatment options.

Our store held a charity race for him and his prognosis was not good either. We raised 4000 dollars for the family. We were sorry to see but he didn't make it. It was a really hard time for the family. They really needed that money so that they could pay for the medical bills. I will pray for little carter.

That was really nice that you did that for that other family, Michele... the medical bills associated with these types of illnesses are just astounding, and devestating to families :-(
