It is nice to be able to sit and watch the new and not see a lot about Murder and Rape. The one problem down here that I do see is child abuse. This disturbs me. What causes a parent to want to hurt a child or a newborn baby? What makes them think that it is OK to do this? I must see that on the news everyday. It sickens me to see that a 3 year old has been burned by cigarettes or chemicals. A 3 month old baby has been shaken to death. A 5 year old has been forced to sleep in a dog crate for punishment. I don't know if it is just the way the world works or have parents not realized how precious a child is. I know that every time I look at my children I get that warm feeling. They have their way of pushing my buttons, but I never let that get out of hand. They go their way and I go mine. Why can't the government come up with some kind of program that teaches parents to be about how children will test their parents and how parents can and will loose their tempers? I don't know maybe while a woman is pregnant with her 1st child. Prevent the abuse from happening. There are also a lot of sexual assaults on children in the south. I do have to say that I never hear about it in My county. They seem to be in the lower class areas. I am in 1 of the richest areas in the state. My concern is that these poor children don't stand a chance. They are the purest things is humanity and here adults have to hurt them. Why does the government let them continue to allow them to reproduce? If a child abuser abuses a child whats to stop them from ever having a another one? I see it all to often. They should be castrated. That's how I feel and I think that we as citizens should protect the Innocent children.

Did you hear about the 7 kids from Texas abandoned in a Nigerian orphanage?
