Well we attempted to go to splash country but it was cold and rainy. the temp only got up it 63. So we took the kids and got them Sneakers for school. Then we walked around the outlets for a little while. We went to a book store and I was looking around and found a book that I thought would be good to read. It is called Belly laughs from Jenny McCarthy. It is about Pregnancy and child birth. The truths and what she went through. I saw her talking about it on TV and thought that might be a fun book to read. Well it is the funniest thing I have read in a while. This girl cuts right to the chase. She tells it how it is. I haven't been able to put the book down. David thought I was nuts cause I was laughing so hard. It is a great book for someone who is pregies(as she puts it) for the first time. Great shower gift Idea ladies!!!!
Anywhoo... I have been feeling contractions most of the night, but they seem to be winding down so they are most likely Braxton Hicks. Bummer! I was hoping to pop the baby out. I called Dad to find out how my uncle Jon in Florida is and I was having them. They were quite regular for a bit, then they are coming more sporadic. They were quite strong too. Instead of every 7 minutes they are every 15-20 minutes. Well I'll just have to wait some more and see when he is ready to pop out.
Oh Gosh! I just came in from out side and there are some BIG bugs around here. The spiders look as if they can drive trucks. We had one hanging on the side of our house. Thank God for bug spray. Brandon and David aren't afraid of them, but as for Ryan, Taylor and myself EEEEWWWWWW.. They are weird looking too. I also discovered that we have Lizards and frogs here too. Those I can handle. No wonder I don't go outside that much... Too many wildlife and yucky insects. There was a song that my Dad used to sing with us when we were little and it goes I hate Bugs. Worse Creatures Even made by God, I hate bugs. Well that is some of it at least. Well that' my motto .

Posted by: Donna at August 14, 2004 10:06 PMAw :-( Bummer about missing Dollywood. The book sounds funny though - I might try and find it for a relative of mine who is pregnant and could use a good laugh about now...
