It's snowing again!
What a wonderful thing snow is; It's white, fluffy, cold, slippery, wet, all the things you don't want it to be when you have to drive to and from work. Or anywhere else for that matter.
The roads were fine when I went to the shop this morning. Around lunch time I had to drive to Asbury Park to measure up a job. It wasn't too bad on the way, it took about an hour in traffic, but coming home it was a slippery wet mess. It took over two hours to make a forty five minute drive. There were marks on the highway dividers where you could tell people were bouncing their cars off and continuing on their way. I saw cars spinning out of control and even saw a truck slide off the highway into the woods. Fortunately I arrived home safe and sound. When I got home and I got out of the car I had a bout of the shakes.
It was a typical Winter wonderland type of day in New Jersey. Boy I can't wait till spring gets here!
