The man's side of it!

What a beautiful day it was. I picked up my grandson Tomas from school and when we got home he had some mac & Cheese (his favorite after-school snack) then I asked him if he would like to go for a walk. He gave me his usual sideways look and then said no! After I asked him what he wanted to do he said go for a walk! (he likes it to be his idea!) So I grabbed my camera and off we went. We walked down the street and I let him decide where we would walk to. He led me down a few side streets in the "hood" and we saw some cool stuff. There was a little trail leading to the stream near our lake, I nudged Tomas in that direction to see if he would go for it and sure enough he loved going "off-road!" Now I'm sure he'll like going for a walk in the woods with me. I shot a pic of a squirrel in a tree down one street and a goose in the backyard of another house on the next street we walked down. When we got back home Tomas got a glass of milk and wanted to go back out again. This time Nana Cassie went with us. It's great fun walking together and the sun and fresh air did us all some good.
