Hooray!
I found the problem! It tuned out to be our firewall. I disconnected each of the devices in turn and connected directly to the modem and then the router and then hooked the firewall back up. It started to happen only when the firewall was connected. So then I started to check all the settings on the darn thing. They all looked good to me. So then I reset the firewall to it's factory specs then checked to make sure it was working (which it did) then change every thing back to the way I had it one thing at a time until I find the fault. I never did find out exactly what went wrong, but it works again! (Knowing me, it was something I did without thinking.)
