The man's side of it!

A few weeks ago on a Sunday night, we got a call from my grandson's dad, Kennan, who by the way is a great dad to Tomas And a good friend to Cassie and Me. He is less like a son-in-law to me and more like a son. Any way he called us and he was very troubled. He told us when he was getting Tomas ready for his shower that there were marks on his chest. The story he got from my daughter Linda was that Tomas had wet himself and then Tomas and Linda slipped in the urine and Linda fell on the boy leaving the mark. I immediately suspected something was wrong as did Cassie and Kennan himself. We suggested Kennan take pictures of the marks and take them to Kennan's attorney. We also suggested he call DYFS (Division of Youth and Family Services) But after all the grief Linda caused by lying about them one time before, he was afraid to cause his mom any more heartache.

Kennan sent me a copy of the photo which I will post here: (click to view full size) Let me tell you I was shocked to say the least. I was so angry I wanted to go over to her apartment and put the fear of God in her and especially her boyfriend James. Linda later told her sister Michele that it was James who accidentally" hurt Tomas. Linda doesn't know how to tell the truth, she is a pathological lier. Kennan took her to court today and won full custody and made sure that Linda could see Tomas only with supervised visitation at Cassie's and my house every Wednesday. He feels that Tomas needs to see his mom but it has to be under supervision. He has to protect the boy but still wants him to be able to see her son. What a great man he is! I am so proud of him! I wish he was my son!

My feeling is that if Linda is protecting James after what James did to Tomas then she is just as guilty as he is of striking the boy. It is her job to protect her son from scum like James. Now she plans to marry the bastard there is no way I want Tomas anywhere near that man. If you can call a man who strikes a boy like that a man. I don't He is scum! Today she called me and said that she wants me, Cassie and Kennan out of her life completely. That broke my heart because in spite of all that she has done I still love her, I want the best for her and James is not it. One day Linda, God is going to allow something very bad to happen in your life to turn your hardened heart around and bring you back to him.

You have once before claimed Christ as your Saviour, God chastens those that he calls his own to bring their hearts back to him, so look out because it always will bring you to your knees as it did me and as it did your sister. Don't marry a man that would hurt your precious son, don't protect a man that would do that. kennan wants you to see Tomas but he also wants Tomas safe. From the picture I gather that a strong person with large hands grabbed Tomas' arm and whacked him across the chest. Look at the picture closely. The judge came to the same conclusion as every one else did. Open your damn eyes and see the truth then tell the truth for once in your life. Think about your son for a change and not poor little Linda.

My heart goes out to that child. Thank the Lord he is young enough that he may not remember this event. Kennan sounds like a good man. I pray that somehow Linda finally finds her way to reality.
