kids are so spoiled these days.
Monday after working hard all day, I took kristin, to get her saxaphone. it's an hour drive to the music store, and it closes at 6:00. So we had to leave as soon as I got home from work. Cassie and I spent over two hundred dollars on the sax and then we went toTGI Fridays to celebrate Heidi's Birthday where we spent another hundred dollars on her Birthday dinner.
I was completely spent when we finally got home and I noticed the garbage still needed to be brought to the street. I asked if one of the girls would take the cans to the street. It was Billy's job previously to take the trash out, but after Billy left for college I decided to give the girls a break.. So anyway, after a hard days work and driving and taking everyone outb to dinner do you think I could get them to help? Everone disapeared faster than a snickers bar at a Weight Watchers meeting.
What did I do, you ask? I took 5the trash to the street and then I assigned the garbage duty to the two girls permanently! You can imagine how that went over, otal chaos! Both Heidi and Kristin were screaming and crying, "It's not fair!" "You always tell us we can't get someone else to do our chores, so you can't either!"
At that point I decided that I will no longer be Mr. Nice Guy, and get a lot tougher and stricter with them.
There would have been more to this entry but the hard drive crased in my desktop and I had to replace it. I'm not sure if I can salvage all the data on it yet. This is a good reason to BACK UP, BACK UP BACK UP! Needless to say it's been over two months since I backed up anything other than my financial info. So basically if I can't rescue the data I'm in a pickle.
Thank goodness for my Palm T5.
Stumble It!
