Phone Horror

I don't often blog about my job (If I ever did). It's a great job and I work with a good bunch. And I don't want to get fired.

Yesterday I got to work at 6:15 AM and noticed a note on top of one of our server backup tapes; Ted, please change the tape for me, I won't be in today. Thanks, SK.

What! That means there will be nobody to answer the phones! Nobody that is, but me! BM was at job meetings all day TC was at a job site. AHHHHHHH! I hate answering the phone!

I'm a Union Draftsman and my work requires a lot of concentration and attention to detail. The darn phone rang all day. What little concentration I was able to muster up between calls didn't get very far. Every time I started to get into what I was doing, RIIIIINNNNNGGGGGG! That darn phone again!

I started to feel like I had ADD. it was so hard to concentrate. This morning I am looking forward to SK getting here at 8. The phone has already gone off 3 times this morning and it's not even 7:00 AM yet.
