Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all you dads and soon to be dads and wannabe dads!
I've had a very nice day today. I woke up at 5:30 this morning, a lot earlier than I wanted to. Made some coffee and surfed the web a bit, played with Autocad and checked my email.
I received some e cards from my daughter and grandkids down in Tennessee wishing me a happy Father's Day. My wife got up around 8 and gave me a very sweet card and some wonderful kisses to go along with the card. I was feeling tired so Cassie suggested I lay down for a nap. I told her I didn't want to sleep past 11 am and that sweet gal did a wonderful wake up call, it made my day (I don't need to spell it out for you I hope, but if so it was better than an afternoon delight!).
The kids were very well behaved today too. Usually on a typical day there will be all kinds of nitpicking, arguing, and grumbling going on. But not today! It was almost like an episode of the Twilight Zone!
We had a late brunch and then went our separate ways doing stuff until dinner time. Billy was working so we waited until 5 PM to go out to the King's Taste Chinese Buffet for dinner. Billy met us there and we all enjoyed a wonderful dinner together. The only thing that would have made the day any better, Cassie and I were discussing on the way home, was if Michele, David and all the grandkids could have been there too. Especially Little Tomas, who we haven't seen since we asked Linda to leave. I even missed Linda today.
So now I'm making an entry (I've been very neglectful lately) and then I'll read for a bit. I'm right in the middle of Dean Koontz's Frankenstein, (The prodigal son)
Cassie and the kids gave me a new Dean Koontz book, Velocity. I can't wait to read it.

Ya know I have repeatedly asked you guys not to mention the gross stuff you do! Your kids do read this!!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!
Michele,
I hope the kids DO read this, They need to know that passion can last your whole life and that sacrifice, love, friendship, understanding, patience and yes, even sex are very important in a marriage.
I hope that Cassie and I can be a positive example to you, the kids, and our grandkids of how a husband and wife should behave.
It took the two of us a long time to learn these lessons, and now we reap the blessings and the joy in our marital relationship.
Nuff preaching,
Love ya,
Dad
I know all that stuff but it is fun to tease you. I just think it is gross when OLD People do it!!!!!!!! HEHEHEHEHEHEH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
