STARWARS Episode III Revenge of the Sith
I finally went to see the final move in the Starwars prequel trilogy. Episode III. I was very overwhelmed by it all.
I wish I had checked my email before I took the grandkids today. a friend had sent me an email warning that it might be unsuitable for young children and she was right! The movie should have had an R rating for the violence. Not only were My 2 grandsons shocked, but so was I. The violence was very graphic.
I have very mixed feelings about this movie. The action and special effects were cool, but the plot was dark and very disturbing. The details in the movie's special effects went beyond anything I had ever seen before. I won't spill the beans if you haven't seen it yet.
Parents be warned, this isn't for the impressionable young child, the faint of heart or the squeamish. There are some very disturbing scenes in this movie. If I had seen this before I took my 12 and 9 year old grandkids, I wouldn't have brought them.
Out of all the Starwars episodes I would have to say The very first one (episode IV) still stands out as the best.
