The man's side of it!

I discovered while straightening up a mess that Linda left in our living room, that Linda signed papers terminating the child support she receives from Tomas' father Kennan. She told Cassie and I that she only had them reduced. (Yeah right! Reduced to nothing) I also found an unpaid summons she received from February, for not wearing her seatbelt while driving Cassie's car. Cassie and I have insisted she must always wear the seat belt while using our cars. I guess she knows better than us.

Linda got fired from her job at the Regal Cinema a few weeks ago after getting caught by the police and getting charged for providing alcohol to minors. This was after she went out with her co-workers on her Birthday. Cassie and I still don't know the whole story, we get little snippets of the story from all different sources. Linda just lies to us. We have counseled her to get a lawyer, her friends and sister have told her to get a lawyer but she still hasn't. Linda told us that Kennan doesn't know about her getting arrested for contributing to the delinquency charge, and asked us not to tell him. Well I sure hope he reads this! She has enough freakin' secrets!

She is no longer allowed to drive any of our cars because of this. So now, she has no job, no car, no child support, she rarely helps out around the house, is a constant source of frustration and aggravation to me and Cassie and now she expects us to support her and her son. I was out of work for the last two years due to a workplace injury and we are struggling to get back on our feet financially. I've only been back to work for a month. Our house has some major storm damage that occurred over the winter and the latest storm this weekend, that we need to get fixed and don't know if our insurance will cover it all.

But Linda lets the boys father gets off the hook! @#$!?+*&^$% (Insert any expletives you think appropriate)

Is she thinking at all? I wonder ... my heart aches for little Tomas.

I don't even know anymore. I never wanted to start trouble with Linda. I only really care for the baby. And you know how long it takes for me to get attached to someone! I already miss him. But if kennan's reading this: You're a low, whiny, pathetic excuse for a person. And it has -never- appeared that you actually CARE about Tomas as anything more than a tool of revenge or another "belonging" of yours you selfish brat.

Oh, before I forget, Linda, THIS is why we're trying to do what's best for you. And it's a quote STRAIGHT from your dad. So you can't say he doesn't care about you because he'd like nothing better than to see you succeed. Whether you believe it or not.

All that we want is for you to become dedicated to doing well. D'you remember how supportive everyone was before your councillor left? Do you remember how absolutely PROUD we all were, at how good a mom you were being? I'm not sure if it was Kennan who made you flop, or the loss of gary or whatever his name was. But my bets are on kennan's ability to make you feel lousy. I'm still here for you, and I'll always be here for Tomas.
