The man's side of it!

Cassie turned fifty today! For her Birthday we went to the movies to see Lemony Snickets, "A series of Unfortunate Events." Then afterward we had her Birthday diner at TGI Fridays. It was a very nice day in spite of the weather. When we got home I gave her the gift I bought her and the card I made for her. When we were first married she had told the kids she wanted a "Mother's ring or pendant." I filed this info away in the back of my mind. When we finally got the insurance money we were waiting for, I decided that is what I would get her. I went to Kay's jewelry store at the mall and ordered a beautiful heart shaped pendant of 14 caret white gold with four stones: December - Blue Topaz, Cassie's Birthday. May - Emerald, Billy's Birthday. September - Saphire, Heidi's Birthday and January - Garnet, Kristin's Birthday, and a beautiful white gold chain to go with it. Needless to say she loved it!
