The man's side of it!

I had never seen the movie Scrooge with Albert Finney. It is a favorite Christmas movie of Cassie's. She thinks that I'm a scrooge because I wasn't into watching Christmas movies this year, so to prove her wrong I promised to watch the movie with her. Well tonight was the night. I have to admit it is a great movie! I enjoyed it very much. Cassie thinks that is the only Christmas movie I'll watch, but who knows I might surprise her. My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story. Ralphie and his family remind me quite a lot, of my childhood. Some of my other favorites are, It's A Wonderful Life, The Muppets Christmas, And How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Yeah I'll probably watch a couple more Christmas movies with the family, but not because they'll call me a humbug or a scrooge if I don't. I love the old movies but most importantly because I want to spend time with the ones I love.

A Christmas Story is our annual Christmas tradition. There's just something about Ralphie and the gang that puts you in a better holiday frame of mind ...

I'm also quite fond of the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol.
