Lazy Teenager
I must have the laziest teenager in the world.
I walked into our family room this morning and discovered that the kids left it a mess. Kristin was the only kid home, she hadn't left for school yet. I asked her to straighten up before she leaves, did she listen? NO! Ok so now I have to wait for the little darlings to get home.
After school when they were all together I told them to clean the room, pick up all their junk and either throw it away or put it in their room.
Kristin and Billy started picking up right away. Heidi didn't budge from her seat, just muttered a sure!. I also told Kristin to vacuum the rug in the family room again she said ok. When I told Heidi to do the dining room and living room she just started screaming at me. I told her that I wasn't going to fight with her but that she will do her job. Normally the kids do the vacuuming on Sunday but it was Heidi's Birthday and she thought we were going to "give her a break for a week," which I might have but they are so sloppy that the rugs needed to be vacuumed badly.
I went outside to get something from our shed and when I returned Heidi was nowhere to be found and the work still wasn't done. Every time Cassie and I ask her to do something we get a loud groan, moan cry of dispair, then "I'm tired, I don't feel good." I am so tired of this behavior I sometimes feel like screaming and just going away. What can we do with this kid? I am at my wits end.
Boy it feels so good to rant sometimes.

It's like living with Michele all over again.. I don't pity you. At least I got the work done after pitching a fit. That's cause I knew what the punishment was if I didn't. It's to bad that you can't do the same with her. I have the same problem here Dad so don't think you are alone. I have 3 slobs! (the kids) They don't know what a trash can is or looks like. So until they straighten up their Christmas is going to be minimal. I love ya. I hope that she stops the attitude
Ps I meant I do pitty you.
Stumble It!
