I like movies where the good guy gets the girl and the bad guys get busted, movies that will entertain me and allow me a brief escape from reality. The Punisher certainly filled most of those needs.
I watched this DVD last night. It was definately a "guy flick" The action was fast and violent, my kind of movie. One of the reasons I rented it was because I like Roy Scheider, although he didn't stay alive very long. In fact nobody stayed alive very long. I did like the charactor of Frank Castle played by Thomas Jane. He also played in Dreamcatcher and The Deep Blue Sea. If you like fast action, bombs, shooting and the bad guy getting it in the end, then this movie is for you.
I would give it a 3 star rating out of 5.
